1-- On Saturday, March 7th we are playing Willowcreek.

Mark Adler would like to invite the Bandits over to his house for burgers, brats, and beer after golf.  Dave Oliver will supply the coolers with beer and soda. Dave will not be putting beverages on the course on this day. When you're finished playing, head to Mark's house with the scorecard and the money.  The rock will be at Mark's house.  There will be a donation jar to help Mark offset his costs.

Mark's address is 10436 Wheatridge Dr. To get there from Willowcreek, turn East on Boswell (toward Del Webb Blvd) when you leave the course.  Take the first right onto W. Highwood Ln. and go right again on W. Wheatridge Dr.

Mark's house is the 5th house on the right from the corner. Park your cart in Mark’s driveway or in the street. Head for Mark’s backyard down the left side of his house.

2-- Celebration of Lives - Dave Masters and Steve Honsberger

When:  March 21, 2026  Where:  Elks Lodge 2559, Sun City, AZ  Time:  4 P.M. Taco bar, coffee, tea and water will be provided. The bar will be available for those wanting to purchase alcohol.

Golf was both Dave and Steve's passion and for those wanting to, please dress in your golf outfits. (Dave's favorite color was blue, Steve was a fan of Ohio State so red/grey or either color).

Those who are not Elk members can enter the hall through the side door.    Please RSVP to either Nancy Masters, 719-359-1272 or Dottie Honsberger, 623-606-1624 no later than March 12th as we will need a final count of people who will be attending by that day.

 

3-- Booking tee times are going up effective January 1, 2026

Booking our weekly tee times is going from $2 a week to $3 a week January 1st. The minimum balance needed in your account is going to be $30 (currently it’s $20). If your account is low, Steve will ask you to put at least $30 in your account. Remember- If you cancel out 10 days prior to the day of play, Preston will take you out and not charge you the $3 for that Saturday. I have purchased additional 2026 tee times for $2.  Steve will only debit you accounts $2 until all these tee times are used up. We will let you know when the booking fee accounts will be debited $3.

4-- Embroidered Bandits logo on your golf shirt.  If you would like a golf shirt with the Bandits logo embroidered on it, contact Bill Bovee. Logo is $10. You provide the golf shirt.

 

5-- Purchase Bandits golf cart logo decal.  Don Geiger is selling Bandits golf cart logo decals. The decals are $5.

6-- Tee you would like to play. Effectively immediately, you can play any tee you want to play regardless of your age.  Example- If you are playing the white tees and want to play the red tees, let Preston know. He will adjust your points and you can start playing the red tees.  ​If you want to re-establish your points instead , you can play for 3 weeks at 0 points to re-establish. If you don’t like the new tee after 3 weeks, you can move back but you can't keep switching tees. Play from a tee and decide.
